10/27/2011 - Demons, Possession, and Exorcism

This week, I ramble for a while about the nature of demons, what they are, what they want, and what they're about.  This leads, of course, to discussing possession in its various forms, and giving instructions on performing rituals of exorcism when required.

All in all, this is a fun look into some of the darkest aspects of Demonic Ascent and its inherent dangers!

    Hey EA,

    Any idea how old are most of the members of the Order of Exorcists when they first join? Really interesting that they don't live more than 15 years after they join.

    Thanks for the great podcasts EA, I've really enjoyed each one so far. I recall at some point you mention your experience with Enochian Magick. I would love to hear about your take on this system. I've heard some occultists believe the "Enochian Entities" to be demonic, however I do not. I understand Donald Tyson believes them to be apocalyptic forces, yet still angelic. Enochian and Necronomicon systems seem to share some similarities.

    As an educated occultist your opinion on Enochian, and Angels in general would be very appreciated. Also I’ve heard the Goetia is mostly full of Jinn and much Arabic magick like the Picatrix has influenced Western Magick, so I’d love to hear your thoughts on the Jinn. (I’ve heard the Jinn referred to as the Ancient Ones in the necronomicon tradition.) Thanks for your time, and artistic insight,
